Abraham Lincoln Promise

The promises that Abraham Lincoln made was that when he was on a trip with a colonel he asked him if he would like  a drink or a smoke form his cigar and Abraham  told him a story that he was going to tell him about his mother. He promised his mom that he would never drink or smoke any tobacco. He kept that promise to his mom and would not let her down. I think that he made a good promise to his mom and he wasn't willing to break that promise. This can relate to me because i don't smoke.

The beginning of this quote says that we need to know that when we feel like we are doing something right that something is right and for us not to try and doubt what our minds is telling us.
