Healthcare Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities:

            Healthcare administrators direct and manage hospitals and other healthcare facilities. Small hospitals may have only one administrator, while larger facilities may have many.  Health care administrators also work in health agencies, clinics, or for private practices.

Average Salary:  

$35,000 - $100,000

Education Requirements:

Students should take challenging high school courses in business, science, math, and English. Most healthcare administrators hold master's degrees in healthcare administration or business administration.

 

I would not like to be a healthcare administrator because I want to be something bigger than that my plans for life is to at least start off making $100,000 after a good career, sure it might take me a while but I’m willing to sacrifice a couple of things and even time to make the money I want to make someday

  What this quote means to me is that you have to want the things in order to achieve your goal. If you don't want it then you will have bad things in your life. The flowers are the goals that you have for yourself and the weeds are some of the failures that you have made in your life

                 Histology Specialists

Duties and Responsibilities:

  Histology Specialists include both Histologic Technicians and Histologists.  Histologists are also referred to as Histotechnologists. Both histologic technicians and histologists prepare tissue samples that are used by physicians to determine if a patient has a disease, dysfunction, or malignancy. Histologists perform more complex and advanced procedures than technicians. Histology specialists work in hospital, veterinary, pharmacy, or research laboratories.

Average Salary:   

  $22,000 - $35,000 (Histologist technicians) 

    $30,000 - $50,000 (Histologists)

Education Requirements:

      Students should take the most challenging high school courses in science, math, and English. To become a histologist, students must either earn a bachelor's degree that includes a one year clinical internship. To become a histologist technician, students must either earn an associate's degree in the field.

Physical Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities:

   Physical Therapists help patients restore bodily functions, prevent permanent disability, and relieve pain after an injury or illness.  Therapy can include work and massage to increase strength, coordination, and range of motion.  Therapists also apply traction and heat, cold, light, and water treatments. Physical therapists are employed in hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, schools, and physicians' offices.

Average Salary:  $25,000 - $45,000

Educational Requirements:

 Students who want to become physical therapists should take the most challenging high school math, science, and English courses. To become a licensed physical therapist, most states require students to earn a master's degree and pass a certification examination.
