Periodontist

Duties and Responsibilities:

A periodontist assistant is a specialist who assists during oral treatment, specifically tissues, gums and bones of the mouth.  They provide help during all procedures including administrative and surgical tasks as well as some clinical functions. Periodontist provide quality services to satisfy patients. Before a particular surgery, they prepare all the equipment needed for the procedure. This includes sterilizing equipment and tools that are needed during the process.

Salary:

$270,000 per year.

Educational Requirements:

It takes many years of study to become a periodontist. You have to complete a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or a related topic and continues with four years of study in dentistry school

I don't think I would like to be a periodontist because it doesn't interest me.

Reflection:

This means that you have to choose the people you mostly talk to carefully. Also you need to choose the people you hang out with carefully. Don't just tell people if you could be there friend because you want to be cool. You are most likely to become like them. If you hang out with the wrong people then you will do wrong things . If you hang out with the right people you will do right things.Always be around people who will have a positive influence in your life. Don't hang around with people that have a negative influence. Then you can show those people who doubted you that you did not need any of them. For example if you hang out with people that smoke, do drugs, and do illegal things. You are most likely to be like them. Another example is if you hang around with people that drink. You might end up like them. Don't hang around with people that do drug cause your most likely going to end up like them. If you want to be happy choose the right and hang around with good people.

            Dental Technicians      

Duties and Responsibilities:

Dental technicians, also referred to as dental laboratory technicians. Dental technicians fill prescriptions by creating models of patients' mouths from physical and sometimes computerized molds.

Salary:

Education Requirements:

Dental laboratory technicians may receive their education and training through a two-year program at a community college, vocational school, technical college, university or dental school.

I don't think I would like to be a dental technician because it doesn't interest me.

Ear, nose, and throat (EDT) Surgeon


Duties and Responsibilities:

Ear, nose, and throat specialists, also known as otolaryngologists or ENT specialists., They are medical doctors responsible for surgical and medical treatment of the ears, nose, and throat, as well as the related head and neck areas.
 

Salary:

$205,000 per year

Education:

ENT’s must complete at least five years of training in a surgical residency. Most start their medical education with a Bachelor of Science degree, but those with a Bachelor of Arts degree are also accepted into some medical school.

I don't think would like to be a EDT because it doesn't interest me. 

             Abraham Lincoln Promise

The promises that Abraham Lincoln made was that when he was on a trip with a colonel he asked him if he would like  a drink or a smoke form his cigar and Abraham  told him a story that he was going to tell him about his mother. He promised his mom that he would never drink or smoke any tobacco. He kept that promise to his mom and would not let her down. I think that he made a good promise to his mom and he wasn't willing to break that promise. This can relate to me because i don't smoke.

Reflection:

A positive attitude about something that you really want to do and you have all the intentions of doing them right then you have to have a good attitude on what you are doing. If you have a bad attitude then you will start to think about all the bad things that can happen.

I think that this statement is good because like we saw in the video the little boy did a thing that no one expected him to do I mean who would have thought that he would give that ball away to the other kid .
