and Responsibilities:
Radiation
therapists treat cancer and other diseases in patients by administering
radiation treatment. In addition to helping with treatments, scientists are
responsible for maintaining the radiation therapist equipment and helping to
maintain patient records. They work in hospitals, public health clinics, cancer
treatment centers, and private offices.
Salary:
$90,000- $130,000
Educational
Requirements:
Most radiation therapists complete programs that lead to
a degree or a bachelor’s degree in radiation therapy. Radiation therapists must
be licensed in most of the states.
