Periodontist

Duties and Responsibilities:

A periodontist assistant is a specialist who assists during oral treatment, specifically tissues, gums and bones of the mouth.  They provide help during all procedures including administrative and surgical tasks as well as some clinical functions. Periodontist provide quality services to satisfy patients. Before a particular surgery, they prepare all the equipment needed for the procedure. This includes sterilizing equipment and tools that are needed during the process.

Salary:

$270,000 per year.

Educational Requirements:

It takes many years of study to become a periodontist. You have to complete a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or a related topic and continues with four years of study in dentistry school

I don't think I would like to be a periodontist because it doesn't interest me.
