Duties and
Responsibilities:
They
work with equipment that directs very high frequency sound waves into the body
nerves to produce images or pictures of inner organs, diseased masses, and
fetuses. Some
sonographers specialize in examining certain areas of the body, such as the
brain, the heart, and the pelvis.
Average Salary:
$24,000
- $38,000
Educational Requirements:
Students should take the most
challenging science, math, and English courses available in high school.
Sonographer training programs are offered at community colleges and hospitals.
I don't think I would like to be a sonographer because it doesn't interest me.
